In mid-January, Amy Schumer announced on Instagram that she had undergone liposuction. The comedian posted a photo, which shows her in a bathing suit on the beach. “I feel good. Finally. It’s been a long road, thanks for helping me get my strength back,” Schumer commented on her post and linked several doctors. The US Magazine “The Hollywood Reporters” The actress now explained why she went under the knife. “It’s not that I have to look great because I’ve never been known for being hot. But I got to a point where I was tired of looking at myself in the mirror,” Schumer said. She finally wanted to feel comfortable in her body again. According to the 40-year-old, she was not able to change her figure just by changing her diet and exercising more. “Everybody on camera does that shit, I just wanted to be honest.”
