Sequel Riddick: Furya announced

Vin Diesel returns to one of his most famous roles: In “Riddick: Furya” he once again slips into the skin of the powerful title character.
More than ten years after the last part “Riddick: Survival is his revenge”, action star Vin Diesel (55) will again be seen in one of his most famous roles. As the industry magazine “The Hollywood Reporter” reports, Diesel stars in Riddick: Furya, the fourth entry in the long-running Riddick franchise. As with the previous parts of the film series, David Twohy (67) is a director and author.
“Riddick: Furya” is set on Riddick’s home planet
According to the official plot description, the main character embodied by Superstar Diesel is to pay a visit to his home planet, called Furya, for the first time in the fourth part. Riddick should hardly be able to remember this. To his surprise, the powerful warrior encounters other Furyans who are still alive and fighting against a new opponent.
The sci-fi film Pitch Black made Diesel famous in 2000, a year before The Fast and the Furious came out. In 2004 and 2013, sequels followed with “Riddick: Chronicles of a Warrior” and “Riddick: Survival is His Revenge” before the successful franchise, which also produced two computer games and an anime film, finally became a little quiet.
