It is the Dane Mads Ostergaard Kristensen who wins the 3rd stage of the Tour de Bretagne 2023 at Le Quillio, this Thursday, April 27, after a final sprint against his breakaway companion, the Swiss Simon Pellaud. The latter takes the lead in the general classification.

4:30 p.m.: interview with Swiss Simon Pellaud (Tudor Pro Cycling Team), new bearer of the green jersey, that of the leader of this Tour of Britain 2023.
4:22 p.m.: After a final sprint, the Dane Mads Ostergaard Kristensen won the finish line against the Swiss Simon Pellaud. The latter takes the lead in the general classification. They arrive 38 seconds ahead of the peloton.

2:40 p.m. : the peloton cut in three, traveling at 46 km/h – Still 3 men in the lead on the climb to Saint-Mayeux
14:15 : the leading men begin the coast of Mûr-de-Bretagne. The peloton stretches.
14:05 : fall of about thirty riders in the peloton in a bend. Everyone get back in the saddle. The peloton is now split in two.
1:54 p.m. : the gap between three leading men and the peloton is 6 minutes
1:08 p.m. : after multiple breakaway attempts, four riders leave the peloton

For this 3rd stage, the organizers have reserved a route without major difficulties except for the coast of Mur-de-Bretagne at kilometer 106 and which will perhaps allow some riders to distinguish themselves. There is no doubt that cycling enthusiasts will flock to the sides of the road to applaud the peloton.

But the passage of the Mûr-de-Bretagne coast should only mark the start of hostilities before entering the final circuit. The uphill false flat finish should be suitable for a long and powerful sprinter.
