Video: The Queen, the Cheese and Theresa May

STORY: Saying goodbye and mourning after a death is known to include reminiscing, the difficult, the beautiful and the funny. It was no different with the death of Queen Elizabeth II, on the occasion of which former Prime Minister Theresa May told an anecdote in front of the House of Commons: “I remember a picnic in Balmoral. The catering arrived, we all helped to close the table cover. I grabbed a piece of cheese, put it on a plate, carried it towards the table. The cheese fell off the plate and I had a split second to decide. I took the cheese, put it on the plate and put it on the table. Only then did I see that my every move had been followed by Her Majesty the Queen. We looked at each other, she smiled, the cheese stayed on the table.”
