In view of the Russian war against Ukraine, Chancellor Olaf Scholz has assured the Baltic states of full protection. “Together we will defend every square centimeter of NATO territory,” he said in Berlin on Wednesday after a meeting with Latvian Prime Minister Krisjanis Kariņs.
