And that’s why we are taking the burden off the citizens and our companies massively . All discharge resolutions together have a volume of 95 billion euros. I said ‘You’ll never walk alone’. Nobody has to get through this crisis alone. And I stand by that. And if we stand together, we’ll get through this crisis . That is also my message to those who are dissatisfied and express this dissatisfaction publicly. Expressing one’s opinion peacefully is one of the most important rights in our democracy. But more and more often we see extremists hijacking rallies, anti-constitutional slogans yelled that peaceful protest turned violent, as was the case with many a lateral thinker demo and some protests against Corona protective measures. We cannot accept this abuse of the right of assembly. [APPLAUS] Our democracy is resilient. No one should doubt that. Because without internal security there can be no free and open society. If we want the citizens of our country to accept the law, then the law must also be enforced.”
