Baldwin speaks out after a fatal incident on the film set
After the fatal shot at a camerawoman on a film set in the US state of New Mexico, actor and producer Alec Baldwin said on Twitter: “There are no words to describe my shock and sadness about the tragic accident that killed the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother, and deeply admired colleague. I am cooperating fully with the police in their investigation to find out what happened. ” He is also in contact with Hutchin’s husband. According to the sheriff in charge, Baldwin had been told that the weapon he was using was a prop and not loaded. The gun was handed to Baldwin by the assistant director with the information that it was a “cold gun”. When the actor pulled the trigger a few minutes later, the gun still fired a bullet, it was said. Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed, director Joel Souza injured. According to the report, the assistant director should have known nothing of the actual condition of the weapon.
