Eating Vegan: Three Reasons

  • Doing good for the environment: Those who do without animal products help to save CO2. The same applies to water, which is used to grow feed for animals from factory farming.
  • Doing good for animal welfare: Not only the fact that animals are killed for meat consumption, but also the keeping of these animals causes suffering. Anyone who does not consume animal-based food does not support the killing of animals or the widespread conditions of factory farming.
  • More Conscious Eating: Of course, it is up to everyone to make their own diet healthy and balanced. So it doesn’t mean that vegans can’t eat anything sweet or eat unhealthy food. By not eating animal products, however, vegans have to take a closer look at their diet. This usually leads to more knowledge and understanding of the food consumed and thus often to a more conscious, healthier diet.
