Unknowns have devastated several allotments north of the Poinger Bergfeldsee. The police wrote in a press release. According to this, the perpetrator or perpetrators are said to have tampered with the system between February 5th and 13th. Officers found a variety of property damage. Among other things, the door of a garden shed was partially torn out and storage containers, as well as rain and compost bins were damaged.
The police are asking the tenants of the allotment gardens to visit their properties and check them for damage. If such are found, the affected allotment gardeners should contact the Poinger police on telephone number (08121) 9917-0. The same applies to witnesses who can give information about vandalism in the allotment garden.
The officials cannot yet finally quantify the exact amount of the damage caused at the current investigation status.
