The vaccine company Valneva is taking part in the 24th World Vaccine Congress from April 1st to 4th in Washington. Valneva will, among other things, present its single-shot vaccine IXCHIQ, moderate a roundtable on the Zika and chikungunya viruses, participate in a panel discussion on efforts to combat chikungunya and also have a booth.
On the evening of April 2nd, Valneva will attend the Vaccine Industry Excellence Awards ceremony, where the company will participate as a finalist for Best Prophylactic Vaccine with IXCHIQ, the world’s first and only chikungunya vaccine.
On April 3rd, Susanne Eder-Lingelbach, VP Clinical Development at Valneva, will give the lecture “Antibody persistence of a single-dose live-attenuated chikungunya virus vaccine (VLA1553) in adults.” Also on April 3rd, Valneva will become Chief Medical Officer , Juan Carlos Jaramillo, will take part in the panel discussion “Vaccine Development and Efforts towards Eradicating Chikungunya”. Additionally, Eduardo Forleo-Neto, VP, Vaccine Clinical Research & Development at Pfizer, will present on Pfizer and Valneva’s Lyme disease vaccine candidate.
