STORY: A time-lapse video captured in the US state of Oklahoma shows the tornado clouds that passed through there on Wednesday. At least three people were killed in the storm in the region and several were injured. Numerous buildings were destroyed. The authorities did not want to rule out that there were more fatalities in the storms. On Thursday, residents of the small town of Cole, Oklahoma ran through debris left by a tornado. The situation was life-threatening, says this man: “We knew that a tornado had formed to the west of us. It looked like it was moving north of us. We started to see some wind. We decided to to go to the tornado shelter. When we got to the kitchen, the front bedroom roof had already been ripped off. I had to hold my wife’s hand or the storm would have sucked her out. We had to fight for our lives.” The rescue workers have now ended their search for victims, it said. According to the National Weather Service, a whole swarm of 18 hurricanes had swept through several states. There were reports from Oklahoma, Iowa and Kansas.
