The curious phenomenon was observed over the state’s largest city. Sioux Falls has around 200,000 residents and is located on the border of Iowa and Minnesota. According to scientists, the natural spectacle occurs when clouds contain a lot of water and thus produce a bluish light that shines through the thunderclouds. In combination with sunlight, it then comes to the amazing green atmosphere that could be observed here by many people.
