Brad Pitt is the star of a new film about Formula 1. The Hollywood strike has slowed down the project. Lewis Hamilton reveals what will happen next with the film.

After the end of the Hollywood strike, there will be no filming for the new Formula 1 film in Las Vegas Give Brad Pitt. “If there was no strike, we would be filming one of the really cool scenes here this weekend. But we will continue filming next year,” revealed Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton before the penultimate race of the season on Sunday (7 a.m. CET/Sky) in the gambling metropolis .

Hamilton is a consultant and co-producer on the film with superstar Brad Pitt. The film is directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Both of them were also responsible for “Top Gun: Maverick”.

Hamilton won’t have to invest much time in the strip during the winter break. “In December I’ll probably spend a day or so with Joe and Jerry going through the script,” said the record world champion from England.

Actresses in Hollywood had been on strike for almost four months. They demanded more money and regulation of the use of AI in the industry. About a week ago they reached a “provisional agreement” with the film studios. The Formula 1 film will “still be great,” Hamilton assured, but “maybe a little more expensive” because of the delay.
