The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) postponed decisions on several Ethereum ETFs until May 2024.
inFilingOn December 18, the agency delayed its decision on Hashdex Nasdaq Ethereum ETF and Grayscale Ethereum Futures ETF, the agency said. Work is underway that involves gathering more information from the public on whether ETFs should be listed.
The agency has also postponeddecisionAbout VanEck Spot Ethereum ETF and spot Ethereum ETF atSubmitBy Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest and 21Shares also exited.
James Seyffart, an analyst at Bloomberg ETF, expects these delays will occur and are scheduled to arrive before December 25. The final day that regulators can decide will come at the end of May.
