The Republican election campaign has begun, and at least one man and one woman want to be elected US President in 2024. Donald Trump, who has both won and lost, announced his candidacy back in the fall. Now Nikki Haley has submitted her application. But of course this is only a prelude, and it is to be hoped that the moderately moderate wing will be able to assert itself against the far right wing in the trench warfare that follows.
