US actor
Bruce Springsteen film: Jeremy Allen White in conversation
A film will reportedly retell the making of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic album Nebraska. Jeremy Allen White could slip into the role of “Boss”.
US actor Jeremy Allen White (“The Bear – King of the Kitchen”) could reportedly star in a film about Bruce Springsteen. As the industry portals “Deadline” and “The Hollywood Reporter” as well as the newspaper “Variety” reported, the 33-year-old actor is in discussion for the role of “Boss”.
Accordingly, the film should be based on the book “Deliver Me from Nowhere” (2023) by author Warren Zanes and the creation of Bruce Springsteen’s album “Nebraska” (1982). According to Deadline, Springsteen himself is involved in the project.
The songs on “Nebraska” about losers, dreamers and desperadoes earned Springsteen honorable comparisons to legendary songwriter Woody Guthrie and writer John Steinbeck.
Jeremy Allen White received several awards this year for his role in the series “The Bear – King of the Kitchen”. With quick cuts and a documentary feel, the series tells of the hectic everyday life behind the scenes of a sandwich restaurant in Chicago.
