The police in Upper Bavaria had to do an unusual job at the weekend: Because his wife didn’t stop talking, a man in Nußdorf im Chiemgau in the Traunstein district called the police. While the man, who was “audibly frightened” according to the police, spoke to the officials on the phone, he fled through the house and garden, the officials said on Saturday. When he escaped on Friday, however, the woman followed her husband and continued to talk to him. According to the police, the woman was “apparently heavily intoxicated” after visiting a folk festival. On site, the police were able to achieve a spatial separation of the couple for the night as a compromise.
