Unterschleißheim – Ways out of the refugee drama in the Mediterranean – District of Munich

By the end of August alone, 1,214 people had died trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea last year. They flee from wars, violence, hunger and misery and hope for a future in Europe. The member of parliament for the Greens, Andreas Krahl, spent six weeks on the sea rescue ship Sea-Eye4, experiencing the drama that is unfolding. He reports about it at an online event of the Unterschleißheim Greens on Friday, February 4th. “Saving people from certain death is an imperative of humanity,” says Krahl, who also wants to talk about how everyone can contribute to reducing human suffering. There is room for discussion. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. The access data will be sent to you after registration gruene-ush.de or sent by email to [email protected].
