Unterschleißheim – Post is moving – District of Munich

Fears of a service gap in Unterschleißheim’s central shopping area have been averted. The Deutsche Post remains with an agency in the district street. The Backstern bakery with café will offer postal services in the future, as Mayor Christoph Böck (SPD) announced in the city council. This was preceded by a feverish search for an operator, in which the city and Deutsche Post jointly participated. The previous post partner on the district road terminated the contract on March 31. From March 21, stamps can be bought and parcels and parcels posted in the bakery. Mayor Böck emphasized the use of the Post in the search for a new solution. There they saw the search as a separate task. According to Böck, the new postal agency offers “reasonable” opening hours. It is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
