Several hundred thousand euros were damaged in a fire on a company site in Lohhof on Wednesday. According to the police, the engine of a self-propelled wood shredder caught fire while a 36-year-old from the Dachau district was working with it. The fire was extinguished by the fire brigade. The police suspect a technical defect as the cause. People were not harmed.
