Bremervörde – Hundreds of helpers have been searching tirelessly for little Arian from Bremervörde in Lower Saxony for days. The emergency services use numerous tactics to try to find the six-year-old. For example, on Friday the garbage collection was canceled without further ado. The hope of possibly finding the missing boy in a garbage can was too great. Fireworks, sweets and balloons have also been used. A quiet search – i.e. a search without fireworks or music – for the missing Arian from Lower Saxony also yielded no results on Friday. The tactic will be discussed with many people, including an autism expert, the spokeswoman said. According to police, Arian is autistic and does not respond to speech. Around 200 soldiers in small groups searched for the missing child on Friday night using night vision devices. Missing Arian from Bremervörde: Bundeswehr increases support

After eight days, the redeeming news came, which almost bordered on a miracle: little Joe from Oldenburg was found alive. An attentive walker noticed a quiet whimpering early in the morning and immediately alerted the emergency services. When emergency services opened the heavy manhole cover just a few hundred meters from Joe’s parents’ house, they found the missing boy. As it became known shortly afterwards, the missing child was outwardly unharmed, but hypothermic.
Search for missing Arian continues: police spokeswoman with new details
Not only are hundreds of emergency services tirelessly searching for the missing Arian from Bremervörde, countless passers-by and residents have also offered their help in the search for the missing boy, according to a police spokeswoman. The police set up a telephone number for tips or offers of help. According to the police, using fewer forces in the search or stopping it after several days is still not an option. “Absolutely not,” emphasized the police spokeswoman.
On Saturday the search will continue along the Oste River, but also around Elm again. In some places you have to check several times, said the spokesman. “It’s entirely possible that the boy is also moving back and forth. Arian left his parents’ house alone on Monday evening. Hundreds of emergency services have been combing the area around Elm in Bremervörde, the six-year-old’s hometown, for days.
