Hairdresser, fitness studio and restaurant: At “Dog Daycare” in the Unterschleißheim business park, dogs are pampered while their owners are away on vacation or have to work. But found animals are also cared for here.
Check-in is at 7 a.m. In this hotel, however, guests are only allowed to go to their room after lunch. Before that, in the 800 square meter garden, you can romp like crazy – whether with the other guests or on agility seesaws, slides or in tunnels. Due to the dogs playing, what was once a lush green meadow has now become a mud field. “We’re very busy here during the holidays. There are sometimes 40 four-legged friends scurrying around here,” says Anita Dobner, head of the “Dog Daycare” kennel in Unterschleißheim. The name is somewhat misleading, because most hotel guests stay overnight and even for several weeks, especially during the holiday season.
