Unterschleißheim – City jumps to the side of SV Lohhof – District of Munich

At SV Lohhof, the construction of the new skate park on Ludwig-Pettinger-Weg miscalculated by a good 200,000 euros. The club president and city councilor Brigitte Weinzierl (CSU) therefore had to appear as a repentant petitioner at the most recent meeting of the main committee in order to bail out the club. Mayor Christoph Böck (SPD) finally showed himself to be generous and campaigned against the votes of the Greens to support the association with a grant of 70 percent of the additional costs. SV Lohhof is creating the new skater facility for the Rolling Wheels department for around one million euros. Some time ago the city promised to take over 400,000 euros from this. Now come another 160,000 euros on top.

The additional costs stem from the fact that the association had assumed that the cost of the sewer connection would be far too low, amounting to 38,000 euros. Weinzierl explained to the committee that she had been informed on request from the municipal utilities that they would be able to get there. But in fact there is no connection point, and a pressure line must be built to compensate for differences in height. The majority of the committee was in favor of helping the association with 70 percent of the additional costs. The Greens were for 40 percent – a value with which SV Lohhof is also supported with the construction costs.
