Unterhaching: symphony concert in the Kubiz district of Munich

The Bruckner Academy Orchestra is coming to the Unterhachinger Kubiz for its traditional autumn concert, for the first time after the restrictions caused by the pandemic again with a large cast. On the program on Sunday, November 6, are works by Arvo Pärt, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johannes Brahms. Jordi Mora is the musical director, the soloists are the violinist Johannes Lechner and the violist Joel Bardolet.

In addition to Arvo Pärt’s composition “Fratres” (in an instrumentation by Mora), Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for violin, viola and orchestra and the first symphony in C minor by Johannes Brahms will be performed. The Bruckner Academy Orchestra consists of young musicians, music students and dedicated amateurs who meet twice a year for a concentrated rehearsal phase and then give concerts under the direction of Celibidache student Jordi Mora. The concert in Unterhaching starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are available in the Kubiz (089/66 55 53 16, via [email protected] or https://kubiz-tickets.reservix.de).
