The Greens member of the state parliament, Claudia Köhler, is one of 115 electors from Bavaria who will elect the new Federal President in Berlin on February 13. The Unterhaching native is very happy about this and says: “I consider it a great honor and pleasure to be able to represent the Bavarian voters in the election of our head of state. It is the first time that I am part of the Federal Assembly. I am grateful for that and I will carry out this mandate responsibly and to the best of my knowledge and belief.” The Federal Assembly is always newly composed and in 2022 consists of the 736 members of the Bundestag and the same number of electors.
