Unaccompanied minor jailed for sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl

A 16-year-old boy suspected of sexual assault against a six-year-old girl was indicted and imprisoned on Sunday evening in Roanne (Loire), we learned Monday from the public prosecutor’s office in this city, confirming information from Progress.

The suspect was arrested by the victim’s father who had decided to monitor him with the help of three other people, neighbors and friends. He was arrested on the night of Friday to Saturday when he tried, according to them, to climb the fence of the property where the little girl lives.

The day before, the mother of the child had found herself face to face with a young man leaving her daughter’s room, located on the 1st floor of their house, who had just been sexually touched.

“After showing the photo of the young man to the girl’s mother, who formally recognized him, they beat him up, causing him a total interruption of work (ITT) of 10 days, before calling the police”, deplores Abdelkrim Grini, public prosecutor of Roanne,

Treated at Roanne hospital, the teenager, an isolated minor who had been living for a fortnight in a specialized structure close to the house, was then placed in police custody and presented to an examining magistrate on Sunday. “He denies the facts with which he is charged,” indicates the prosecution in conclusion.
