Dead people under Göring’s house – panorama

During excavations at the former Nazi headquarters Wolfsschanze, amateur archaeologists have found the remains of several people, including those of a pregnant woman. The discovery under Hermann Göring’s house raises questions.

At first it was just nails. Jens Hfalek was happy about this find. The nails confirmed his theory that a wooden floor had been laid in this room in the ruins of Hermann Göring’s former apartment in the so-called Wolf’s Lair. Shortly afterwards he found some coins from the Nazi era. Together with two amateur archaeologists, he took a closer look and dug a little deeper into the sandy soil. Then they came across a human skull. During further excavations they found five human skeletons, including a child, an apparently old person and a heavily pregnant woman and her fetus. The bones were only about ten to 20 centimeters deep in the ground.
