Update from November 20th, 11:19 a.m: Public criticism in Russia – from the wives of Russian soldiers: Dissatisfaction among Russian combat forces and their families over long front-line deployments is growing. This is what experts estimate in the British Ministry of Defense’s latest intelligence report on the war in Ukraine. Now, for the first time since the beginning of the war, their women were protesting on Moscow’s streets. They called for the men to be rotated from deployment to the front.

Although the demonstration on November 7th was ended by the police within a few minutes, the demand was remarkable, said the statement from London. “The apparently unlimited combat deployment of personnel without rotation is increasingly viewed by the soldiers themselves and their families as unsustainable,” it said.

The spokeswoman for the southern command post, Natalia Humenyuk, had previously said that the Ukrainian army had now pushed the Russians three to eight kilometers away from the river on the left bank of the Dnipro, which was until recently completely occupied. International observers have also recently reported Ukrainian advances on the Dnipro reported.
