Ukraine has received more than $7 million in crypto donations after announcing it will distribute an airdrop, according to information on the network.
Ukraine received $1.1 million in ETH, $6 million in DOT and other crypto after the announcement. This will bring the country’s total crypto donations to more than $40 million already.
Before the announcement of the airdrop, there were over $33 million in crypto and will be donated to the Ukrainian war.
It is not yet known how the Ukrainian Airdrop will be. Ukraine said that Russian soldiers who surrendered would receivemoney about $48,000 and crypto could play a role in this.
