Finland, which borders Russia, is sending more defense supplies to Ukraine. This was decided by President Sauli Niinistö after a government proposal, as announced by the Finnish Ministry of Defense on Thursday.
That tenth support package from the Nordic EU country therefore has one Value of 55.6 million euros, which increases the value of all Finnish defense material supplies to Ukraine to EUR 160.4 million. It is the largest single package so far, said Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen.
For operational and security reasons, the ministry is leaving open what the package will include and when it will be delivered.
