North Korea’s rulers Kim Jong Un is still in Russia. Today he visits an aircraft factory in the Far East of the country. In Komsomolsk-on-Amur he visits the production of Russian fighter aircraft Sukhoi Su-35 and Su-57, according to a government statement from Moscow. He also attended a demonstration flight of a Su-35 fighter jet.
Russia sees “the potential for cooperation both in the field of aircraft construction and in other industries” with North Koreasays Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov. He had accompanied Kim through the facility. This is “particularly important for overcoming the tasks that our countries face in order to achieve technological sovereignty,” said Manturov, who is also Minister of Industry and Trade. According to the Interfax agency, the aviation company produces “military and civilian equipment” in Komsomolsk.
