Two young people lock themselves in the toilets of a train and trigger a beautiful mess

Twenty minutes off. On Monday, around 5:20 p.m., the train from Bordeaux to Marseille made a much longer stop than expected at Matabiau station in Toulouse. The time to extract with difficulty from the quay, by breaking a blind window, two 20-year-old travelers stuck in the toilets. They came out of it safe and sound. But rather sheepish.

Because it was no accident. In fact, they were planning to go on vacation in Marseille without paying for their ticket. And, without thinking for a second, the two free riders therefore voluntarily locked themselves in the reduced area in full view of a controller, even breaking the interior handle for greater safety.

Compromised Matches

Placed in police custody, the two young people opted for a “guilty plea” procedure. Which could cost them far more than two train tickets and a broken pane. Indeed, from a police source, the SNCF, which had to manage a number of missed connections because of their “rescue”, filed a complaint.
