The Day Before has gone from being the most wanted game on Steam to a failure, both for the developer and the gamers who were looking forward to the survival MMO. Two alternatives are now coming together to form a bundle, giving The Day Before a swipe.
What kind of offer is this? The survival games DayZ and Icarus are currently available in a double pack on Steam. The two games are currently being sold in a bundle for €49.56 under the name “The Day After Survival Sale”. Steam offered. That’s a 33% discount compared to the full price of both games combined.
The name of the bundle is a fairly obvious reference to the failed survival hope The Day Before. The sale comes shortly after DayZ responded to the closure of Fntastic, the studio behind the survival flop, with a snarky post.

How is this discussed? The allusion to The Day Before hasn’t gone unnoticed by other gamers either. In one Reddit thread users applaud the studios behind DayZ and Icarus for their tongue-in-cheek action:
