Tapping your feet for the New Year. Nearly 3,000 revelers gathered at two sites in Var where two rave parties took place, reports Var Morning. The first of these was held in Cannet-des-Maures, on a site in the Plaine des Maures nature reserve. This Tuesday morning, some 400 techno fans were still there.
A second wild party took place a handful of kilometers away, in an old bauxite mine near Thoronet Abbey. On these two sites, the gendarmerie carried out alcohol and drug tests. Fines for parking in natural areas were also issued.
