Two men in police custody after stabbing of man

A 20-year-old man was seriously stabbed in Saint-Étienne, during the night from Saturday to Sunday, and two men were taken into custody, we learned from judicial and police sources.

The stabbed young man, whose vital prognosis had initially been compromised, is no longer in danger of death, said the Saint-Étienne public prosecutor’s office.

Alcohol-related assault

Two men were taken into custody, added the prosecution. None of them is known to the police and one was also hospitalized following injuries, we learned from the same source. They are aged 31 and 32 according to police.
