They were evacuated as an “absolute emergency” to the university hospital. Two men were injured by firearms on Wednesday evening in the Bagatelle district of Toulouse. According to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis), firefighters were called shortly after 8:30 p.m. to intervene at 22, rue du Cher. On site, they found two seriously injured men, one aged 34, the other in his twenties.
According to La Dépêche du Midi, it could be a settling of scores against a backdrop of drug trafficking. Four suspects allegedly appeared in a car on rue du Cher, known for its deal point, before opening fire.
The investigation was entrusted to the organized crime division of the interdepartmental judicial police service.
