He was nicknamed “Aboloman” (bald man in the pidgin language of Nigeria) by the young women who accused him. A 59-year-old man was tried by the Loire-Atlantique Assize Court in Nantes for the rapes and attempted rapes of seven Nigerian prostitutes, reports West France. The facts allegedly took place between February 2015 and October 2017, the date of his incarceration, in the areas of rue Paul-Bellamy and the Pont de Cens.
During the hearing, the individual admitted that he had sometimes had paid sexual services with young African women but that he had in no way assaulted the seven young women who had joined as civil parties. A version which did not convince the jurors who sentenced the fifty-year-old on Tuesday evening to twelve years in prison.
