A probably forgotten bucket of dirty water in Türkheim (Unterallgäu district) led to a large-scale operation by the police and fire brigade. As the police announced on Sunday, a man had noticed a strange smell in the area of a kindergarten on Saturday and sounded the alarm. So it should smell of sulfur or ammonia there. Several fire brigades and patrols headed for the kindergarten, which was not open on the weekend. The emergency services quickly found the reason for the strange smell: According to a police spokesman, it was a bucket of old water that the cleaning lady had probably forgotten. At no point was there any danger.
