The German national soccer player Kevin Volland is currently rolling up the French Ligue 1 from behind with his club AS Monaco: The team from the principality recently won eight games in a row, so it is back in business for the Champions League qualification. In the second half of the season it beat all the top teams, Paris St. Germain with Mbappé and Neymar even 3-0, as well as Marseille, Rennes, Nice, Lyon and champion Lille at the weekend. And Volland makes a significant contribution to the fact that things are going so well: he has already scored 24 goals for the Monegasques in almost two seasons since his move. After the training, the native of the Allgäu takes the time for an online conversation with the SZ.
