US billionaire Kim Kardashian is being interviewed at the OMR digital trade fair when an incident occurs. Security forces have to drag a woman out of the hall.

She was expected like no other guest at the OMR digital trade fair: the world-famous influencer Kim Kardashian. When she takes the stage in Hamburg, as many hands with cell phones reach up as at a mega-star’s concert. All-purpose moderation weapon Kai Pflaume greets them beaming with joy. OMR founder Philipp Westermeyer and US journalist Kara Swisher then conduct the interview, which initially primarily deals with Kardashian’s career and social media. In the middle of the conversation, the entrepreneur is suddenly interrupted. Screams echo through the hall. “Free Palestine!” chants a woman. “Free Palestine!”

The moderators exchange uncertain looks. Kardashian sits calmly from a distance. But when the woman doesn’t stop screaming, the close-up on the screen shows her repeatedly pulling the sleeves of her tight dress over her hands. Finally she says, somewhat quietly but clearly audibly into the microphone: “Free everyone”. Murmurs of agreement from the rows of seats. The organizers are initially waiting, hoping that the strange woman will calm down again on her own. But she doesn’t do that. As they try hard to continue the conversation, the message rings out louder and louder throughout the room: “Free Palestine!” Finally, security guards grab the woman by the arms and drag her out of the room.

Kim Kardashian is not left indifferent by the incident

Kardashian no longer seems tense and yet you can tell: the mood has changed and has become a little more serious. A little later she indirectly talks about the incident again. Then when it comes to her four children. Kardashian says she tries to raise her children as best as possible and to be tolerant people. This also includes talking to them about Israel and Palestine.

Kardashian also makes it clear how she feels about the war. “I have friends on both sides,” she says, just as her children have friends from all over the world. “I sympathize with both sides. And I teach my children to show everyone the same respect with which they want to be treated.”
