The Munich I Regional Court sentenced 22-year-old Erdem I. to a prison sentence of four years and six months on Wednesday. In addition, he will no longer be allowed to obtain a driving license for five years, the court said. Erdem I. caused a traffic accident at Leonrodplatz on July 9, 2023, in which the 18-year-old student Daniel N. was killed and his friend Leo W., the same age, was seriously injured.
