The presenters Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf have hidden a suitcase in Germany. Inside: one million euros. The suitcase was searched all over the country – now it has been found.

The treasure hunt for one million euros in Germany is over. On Tuesday evening the suitcase with the prize money was found: The program “Joko & “Klaas against ProSieben” is interrupted at around 8:40 p.m. A treasure hunter named Tobias comes to presenter Joko Winterscheidt’s hiding place. He enters a numerical code and actually manages to open the suitcase.

Winterscheidt and his colleague Klaas Heufer-Umlauf won 15 minutes of broadcast time on “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” on November 7th. They used this the next day to start their campaign: The two of them raffled off one million euros as part of a scavenger hunt. For a week, the presenter duo went on air every evening to pose a treasure hunt puzzle. Only those who solve all the puzzles correctly will receive the coordinates of the treasure chest.

Treasure hunt by Joko and Klaas for a good cause

Joko Winterscheidt and the lucky million-dollar winner are expected to appear on Klaas Heufer-Umlauf’s “Late Night Berlin” program on ProSieben on Tuesday evening at 11:10 p.m.

Joko and Klaas wanted to do this together with DKMS at the same time call for people to register as a stem cell donor. On Tuesday evening there were already over 37,000, the goal was 10,000. From this hurdle onwards, the numerical code for the suitcase should be revealed without a puzzle.

DKMS managing director Stephan Schumacher was overwhelmed and enthusiastic about the campaign. “A huge thank you to Joko and Klaas and to everyone who makes this exciting treasure hunt possible with so much commitment and creativity. With this great idea, they are making countless people across Germany aware of the important topic of blood cancer and are supporting us in helping even more people affected “To be able to give patients a second chance at life.”
