PSG is very close to concluding the arrival of its second summer recruit. After Vitinha (FC Porto), the club from the capital has made progress in the Hugo Ekitike file. The Stade de Reims and Paris came closer to an agreement during a telephone meeting on Thursday, and at this stage only a few details would remain to be settled. They could be by the end of the weekend.
Ekitike already agrees with PSG
Ekitike, who is currently on an internship in Brussels, has already found common ground with the Parisian leaders around a five-year contract, i.e. until 2027. In the event of validation by the Champagne club, he could head quickly to the Paris region to have his medical examination there.
The future transfer of the young striker from Reims (20 years old, under contract until 2024) is estimated at 30 million euros. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will agree on a one-time payment or a staggering which would suit Paris for the rest of its recruitment.
