Transfer fixed: Bayer Leverkusen signs Noah Mbamba from Club Brugge. The youngster has signed a contract until 2028.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen have signed Belgian top talent Noah Mbamba with immediate effect. The 18-year-old comes from Club Brugge and has signed a contract with the Werkself until the summer of 2028.
It has recently been reported that Leverkusen and Mbamba have agreed on a transfer; the youngster’s contract in Bruges would have expired at the end of the season, Mbamba could then have switched to Leverkusen. The Bundesliga club could now agree on an immediate transfer with Bruges.

The Werkself reported completion on Saturday afternoon. Mbamba is moving to Leverkusen immediately and will receive a contract until 2028. Leverkusen will pay a reported transfer fee of 100,000 euros for this.
“Noah Mbamba is one of the great talents in his position as midfield midfielder. He has excellent technique, is tall and fast,” said managing director Simon Rolfes. “If he continues to develop at this level, he and his class will be able to play an important role in our Werkself in the future.”
Although Mbamba is at home in defensive midfield, he can also play as a central defender. The market value of the Belgium U19 international is estimated by transfer market estimated at three million euros.
