Tuesday was the worst day in a long time, says Johannes Huber. Even if people were still in the mood for shopping now, in the fourth wave of the corona pandemic: Even greater than the fear of infection is the uncertainty due to “regulations that seem to change every day”. Huber is the managing director of the Garhammer fashion house, which takes up a considerable part of the town center in Waldkirchen in Lower Bavaria and attracts people from a large area. On Tuesday, says Huber, there was talk of 2G on the radio, and customers promptly stayed away.
