Tourism association is looking for “Captain von Köpenick (m/f/d)” – Panorama

The Treptow-Köpenick Tourist Association is looking for a “Captain from Köpenick (m/f/d)”. It is a mini job for which you can apply until May 20th. The tourism association expects “acting talent and openness”. The job advertisement says that “particular importance is attached to dealing sensitively with social diversity”.

Well, that’s going to be difficult. Wilhelm Voigt, who is supposed to be portrayed, was an accomplished petty criminal of the 20th century. Voigt dangerously misled good Prussian soldiers and officials, possibly also members of the Köpenick tourism association, in a uniform he was not entitled to, and in this way stole money. For inexplicable reasons, the lawbreaker was later pardoned, sung about and honored in countless plays, books and films (portrayed, for example, by the rather undiversified Heinz Rühmann). Voigt died in Luxembourg, where he probably didn’t even pay taxes.

If the employer expects a “sensitive approach to social diversity”, he does not do justice to the role. Rather, the performer (m/f/d) should be insensitive, egocentric and greedy. His (or her) CV should contain initial experience in the professional fields of drug-related crime, alcohol abuse and state endangerment. In this case, only when it can be assumed that the mini-jobber wants to take over the complete power not only of the Köpenick Tourist Association, but also of the associated town hall, the Brandenburg region and the entire world immediately after taking up the position further details to be discussed.
