The number of charging stations in German car parks is quite manageable – completely different in Stockholm: Here an entire car park is converted into a free charging station for e-cars. The “largest single project for electric cars in Europe” should be a role model for Germany.
“This is really a step further than what is known in Germany or anywhere else in Europe,” says Peter Görtzen, Director Wholesale for the European region at Ctek star. In cooperation with the mobility company Stockholm Parke, the Swedish manufacturer of charging technology has installed 800 charging points in a multi-storey car park in the city of Hagastaden. This is an underground car park on three floors, which was opened at the end of May after eight years of construction.
