From lawyer to executor – that’s what it’s all about
Like the novel, the series is about a sought-after and overworked lawyer named Björn Diemel (Schilling). For the sake of his wife Katharina (Cox) and their daughter Emily (Pamuk Pilavci), Björn signs up for a mindfulness seminar in order to better balance work and private life in the future and ultimately save his broken marriage.
In fact, the seminar has unforeseen consequences for Björn, as a result of which one of his clients dies. However, since this is the influential and unscrupulous mafia boss Dragan Sergowicz (Geršak), not only the police but also a whole gang of gangsters are soon on his heels. In order to save his skin and that of his family, it doesn’t stop with this one murder…
The darkly humorous book “Achtsam Morden” by author and lawyer Karsten Dusse became a bestseller and has been translated into over 20 languages. To date, there have been three very successful sequels about the murderous lawyer Björn Diemel. A target start date for his first serial murder on Netflix has not yet been announced.
