From the first meeting, he insisted that the youngest of the children be present. Since Monday, a 37-year-old Lorient man has been on trial for rape and sexual assault on young boys before the Morbihan Assize Court.
According to West France, the man is said to have repeatedly attempted to form relationships with single mothers in an attempt to get close to their children. The facts would have occurred between 2014 and 2017 in the region of Lorient, Vannes and Maure-de-Bretagne (Ille-et-Vilaine).
Rape charges have been filed against the accused for one of the victims. The five other young boys aged 3 to 10 years old were allegedly sexually assaulted. At the helm, the defendant has so far denied the facts, explaining that he “would never hurt a child”. The accused’s psychiatric report revealed serious personality disorders, adds West France. The Morbihan Assize Court is due to deliver its verdict on Friday evening.
