“Titanic” back in the cinema: the heart is still beating – culture

From

Kathleen Hildebrand

It’s a bit painful when the big pop culture events of one’s own youth are resurrected. Because you know why that is, namely because of all the money that can be earned with nostalgic feelings. So you are: old or at least not very young anymore, that much is certain. Abba are now touring as avatars across the world’s concert stages. Robbie Williams fills stadiums again. And now it’s “Titanic” turn, the most megalomaniac film of the nineties, the film that broke all records – the most expensive, the most successful, the one with the most impressive effects and (almost) nominated for the most Oscars.
